Elizabeth earned her masters’ degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Public Health with an emphasis on Health Promotion and Health Behavior. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Southern Mississippi in Public Health, and she is a Certified Lifestyle Coach through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the emphasis of the National Diabetes Prevention Program.

Elizabeth has a passion for helping individuals to have a clear understanding of the effects of health disparities on one’s life. This passion led her to writing a “Healthy Me” program to help introduce individuals to small increments to healthy lifestyle changes for a healthier lifestyle.  Her deep understanding and caring for others was developed at an early age and continued into adulthood. Elizabeth’s experience as a parent of a special needs child helped to embellish her leadership skills and compassion for others. She has experience as a Project Director with the Mississippi Tobacco Free Coalition for Hancock and Pearl River Counties. It was important to her to educate the young adults of those counties to dangers associated with the popularity of vaping especially among the middle and elementary schools age students.

Elizabeth credits her organizing skills to her vast experience as an owner of an event design firm. She is known as a people person who is always willing to help. She is also an avid photographer with her love for photographing the beaches and bayous of the Gulf Coast.
